If you are getting over your breakup, Forgetting Sarah Marshall is great movie to watch. It is funny as well as hopeful and the naked breakup scene at the beginning is a classic. It is a romantic disaster comedy – so it does follow a formula, as the normal guy manages to attract some ridiculously beautiful women – but it was surprisingly enjoyable along the way.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is worth watching just to see the lead, Jason Segel go through the classic breakup stages that we all recognize. He wallows in his self-pity, embarrasses himself with cringe-worthy behavior, and we laugh along with him. Not a perfect movie, but a movie filled with perfectly funny moments.
